Finalizamos nuestra movilidad con las dos últimas jornadas conociendo y participando del sistema educativo sueco. El viernes visitamos la Universidad de Uppsala dentro del marco "Contexts4Content", conociendo la herencia académica y cultural sueca. Por la tarde visitamos la localidad de Sigtuna, que durante unos años fue la capital del país. En la jornada del sábado, tuvieron lugar las presentaciones de los porfolios de aprendizaje de los alumnos, además de una reflexión final del trabajo adquirido y sobre las estrategias de diseminación de los aprendizajes. Como colofón, recibimos nuestros diplomas de participación poniendo así fin a esta maravillosa experiencia.

We finished our mobility with the last two days getting to know and participating in the Swedish educational system. On Friday we visited Uppsala University within the "Contexts4Content" framework, getting to know the Swedish academic and cultural heritage. In the afternoon we visit the town of Sigtuna, which for a few years was the capital of the country. On Saturday, the presentations of the students' learning portfolios took place, in addition to a final reflection on the work acquired and on the strategies for disseminating learning. As a climax, we received our participation diplomas thus ending this wonderful experience.

Hoy ha tenido lugar el segundo contacto con centros educativos suecos para conocer la organización escolar y la gestión del aprendizaje en Suecia. En este caso hemos visitado Västerangsskolan en Balsta, en la comuna de Habo. No podemos estar más contentos con todo lo que hemos aprendido. Hemos tenido la oportunidad de visitar las diferentes clases dentro de nuestros niveles educativos, así como las conferencias impartidas por el equipo directivo del centro. Hemos vuelto con la mochila llena de ideas para aplicar en nuestras aulas, lo que nos permitirá mejorar y adaptar nuestra práctica educativa al marco europeo. Mañana continuamos con la visita a la Universidad de Uppsala, y os mantendremos informados de todo lo acontecido. Today the second contact with Swedish educational centers took place to learn about school organization and learning management in Sweden. In this case we have visited Västerangsskolan in Balsta, in the commune of Habo. We couldn't be happier with what we have learned. We have had the opportunity to visit the different classes within our educational levels, as well as the conferences given by the center's management team. We have returned with a backpack full of ideas to apply in our classrooms, which will allow us to improve and adapt our educational practice to the European framework. Tomorrow we continue with the visit to Uppsala University, and we will keep you informed of everything that has happened.  Miércoles en Estocolmo: Educar a los jóvenes para la Democracia y museo Vasa   Wednesday in Stockholm: Educating youth for Democracy and Vasa museum

Bienvenidos! Como cada día esta semana, os ofrecemos el resumen de nuestro día en Estocolmo. Por la mañana hemos acudido a una conferencia acerca de la educación de los jóvenes suecos para la democracia y el tratamiento que se da a este aspecto desde los centros. Ha sido muy interesante poder apreciar cómo desde los centros se inicia a los jóvenes en el funcionamiento del sistema político a través de una participación activa. Por la tarde, y dentro del marco "Context4Content" hemos visitado el museo Vasa, un impresionante barco del siglo XVII rescatado de las aguas del Báltico. Como cada día una experiencia inigualable de la mano de English Matters. Mañana volvemos a visitar otro centro educativo sueco. Estamos deseando volver a estar en contacto directo con el sistema educativo sueco. Os mantenemos informados, ¡Hasta mañana!

Welcome! Like every day this week, we offer you the summary of our day in Stockholm. In the morning we have attended a conference on the education of young Swedes for democracy and the treatment given to this aspect from the centers. It has been very interesting to be able to appreciate how from the centers young people are introduced to the functioning of the political system through active participation. In the afternoon, and within the "Context4Content" framework, we visited the Vasa museum, an impressive 17th century ship rescued from the waters of the Baltic. Like every day, an unparalleled experience at the hands of English Matters. Tomorrow we return to visit another Swedish educational center. We are looking forward to being in direct contact with the Swedish education system again. We keep you informed, until tomorrow!

Día 3 en Estocolmo -  Day 3 in Stockholm

 Hola de nuevo!!!! Hoy ha sido un día realmente interesante puesto que hemos tenido la oportunidad de visitar por primera vez dos centros educativos suecos. En primer lugar hemos visitado Ängskolan en Sundbyberg, donde hemos profundizado en el sistema educativo del país y hemos tenido, además, la oportunidad de realizar muchas preguntas. A continuación nos hemos desplazado hasta Lilla Alby skola, también en Sundbyberg. En este caso, hemos conocido al equipo docente para posteriormente, por parejas y acompañados de alumnado del centro como guía, conocer todas las dependencias del centro. Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora al poder estar en contacto con el centro de una forma tan directa y cercana; incluso hemos comido en el comedor del centro con los alumnos y profesores. No podemos estar más contentos y agradecidos con la experiencia que nos brinda, una vez más, el Programa Erasmus+. La aventura continua mañana con el trabajo en el portfolio de aprendizaje y la visita al Vaasmuset dentro del marco "Context4content", de la que os mantendremos informados. Hello again!!!! Today has been a really interesting day since we have had the opportunity to visit two Swedish educational centers for the first time. First of all, we have visited Ängskolan in Sundbyberg, where we have delved into the educational system of the country and we have also had the opportunity to ask many questions. Then we have moved to Lilla Alby skola, also in Sundbyberg. In this case, we have met the teaching team to later, in pairs and accompanied by students from the center as a guide, get to know all the dependencies of the center. "Structured Educational Visit to Schools & Training Seminars in Sweden: Days 1 and 2"

 Bienvenidos de nuevo y saludos desde Estocolmo!! Llevamos dos días en la ciudad y no han podido estar mejor aprovechados! Ayer comenzamos con la jornada inicial del curso, donde conocimos a nuestros compañeros de 14 nacionalidades diferentes, desde Países Bajos a Grecia pasando por Francia, República Checa... También conocimos algunos de los nombres más importantes dentro de la cultura y sociedad sueca así como las herramientas para la reflexión del aprendizaje y desarrollo profesional, y culminamos con el marco de trabajo para los encuentros pedagógicos con los colegios. La jornada de hoy lunes ha estado dividida en dos partes. Por un lado, esta mañana hemos mantenido un proyecto de aprendizaje de campo dentro del marco "Contexts4Content", donde hemos visitado algunos de los lugares más representativos de la ciudad. Por la tarde, hemos conocido a fondo todos los aspectos del sistema educativo sueco de la mano de uno de los directores de los centros que visitaremos esta semana, que también hemos organizado. Mañana tendremos nuestro primer contacto con centros escolares suecos y no podemos estar más emocionados. Os mantendremos informados!! Gracias por llegar hasta aquí! Ses snart!!!

Welcome back and greetings from Stockholm!! We have been in the city for two days and they could not have been better used! Yesterday we started with the opening day of the course, where we met our classmates from 14 different nationalities, from the Netherlands to Greece through France, the Czech Republic... We also met some of the biggest names in Swedish culture and society as well as the tools for reflection on learning and professional development, and we culminate with the framework for pedagogical meetings with schools. Today, Monday, has been divided into two parts. On the one hand, this morning we have maintained a field learning project within the "Contexts4Content" framework, where we have visited some of the most representative places in the city. In the afternoon, we got to know in depth all aspects of the Swedish educational system from one of the directors of the centers that we will visit this week, which we have also organized.Tomorrow we will have our first contact with Swedish schools and we couldn't be more excited.  ¡¡NUEVA MOVILIDAD EN CAMINO!! NEW MOBILITY ON THE WAY!!

Bienvenidos de nuevo!! Ya tenemos todo preparado para nuestra última movilidad del proyecto Erasmus+ de este curso. Virginia, Emilio, Carlos, María José y Pablo viajarán el próximo día 27 de Marzo a Estocolmo para realizar una visita estructurada a colegios suecos. Tendremos la posibilidad de estar en contacto con profesorado no solo de Suecia, sino de multitud de países europeos que nos aportarán diferentes puntos de vista y formas de tratar aspectos tan importantes en nuestro centro como la interculturalidad y la integración de alumnado inmigrante. No os perdáis ninguna de nuestras actualizaciones puesto que os vamos a ir contando al detalle toda nuestra experiencia. Antes de terminar nos gustaría agradeceros el habernos dado un rato de vuestro tiempo, muchas gracias a todos!!

Welcome again!! We already have everything ready for our last mobility of the Erasmus + project of this course. Virginia, Emilio, Carlos, María José and Pablo will travel to Stockholm on March 27 for a structured visit to Swedish schools. Tras nuestra vuelta, hemos completado nuestro Erasmus Corner con mapas, fotografías y objetos característicos de Florencia, para que todas las personas que pasen por aquí puedan estar al corriente de todo lo acontencido con nuestras movilidades. ¡Esperamos que los disfrutéis!

After our return, we have completed our Erasmus Corner with maps, photographs and characteristic objects of Florence, so that all the people who pass through here can be up to date with everything that happens with our mobilities. We hope you enjoy them!

 Últimos días en Florencia: Flipped Classroom, Ted Ed, Goosechase, aprendizaje mezclado con diversión y... ¡Nuestros diplomas!

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo al blog de nuestra aventura europea! Nuestra andadura ha llegado a su fin, pero ha sido una semana cargada de aprendizaje, experiencias y diversión gracias a Europass Teacher Academy. El jueves trabajamos acerca del modelo Flipped Classroom (aula invertida), que consiste en un modelo pedagógico que transfiere el trabajo de determinados procesos de aprendizaje fuera del aula y utiliza el tiempo de clase, junto con la experiencia del docente, para facilitar y potenciar otros procesos de adquisición y práctica de conocimientos dentro del aula. Posteriormente cada grupo de maestros preparamos una actividad con TED-Ed, que es la videoteca educativa de TED, que permite crear lecciones personalizadas tomando como base los numerosos recursos audiovisuales incluidos en su espacio web o bien crearlas desde cero a partir de vídeos de su canal en YouTube, que presentamos a nuestros compañeros y compañeras. El viernes, para finalizar la actividad formativa, realizamos una dinámica muy divertida a través de la aplicación GOOSECHASE, que combina pruebas y búsqueda del tesoro con la tecnología de un smartphone. Trabajamos en grupos mixtos con los compañeros de los diferentes países, con un resultado altamente enriquecedor. Para culminar, la academia nos entregó los diplomas de asistencia. Como última actividad, hoy hemos realizado un tour junto con el resto de asistentes en el que hemos conocido rincones muy especiales de la Toscana, y que nos ha servido para estrechar aun mas los lazos creados entre nosotros a lo largo de esta semana. Nuestra valoración de la formación es muy positiva, y estamos muy contentos de formar parte de la gran familia educativa europea. Gracias a todos y todas por seguir nuestra andadura, ¡Estamos en contacto!

Welcome back to the blog of our European adventure! Our journey has come to an end, but it has been a week full of learning, experiences and fun thanks to Europass Teacher Academy. On Thursday we worked on the Flipped Classroom model (inverted classroom), which consists of a pedagogical model that transfers the work of certain learning processes outside the classroom and uses class time, together with the teacher's experience, to facilitate and enhance other knowledge acquisition and practice processes in the classroom. Subsequently, each group of teachers prepares an activity with TED-Ed, which is TED's educational video library, which allows you to create personalized lessons based on the numerous audiovisual resources included in your web space or create them from scratch from videos on your channel. on YouTube, which we present to our colleagues. On Friday, to end the training activity, we carried out a very fun dynamic through GOOSECHASE, an application that combines tests and a treasure hunt with the technology of a smartphone. We work in mixed groups with colleagues from different countries, with a highly enriching result. To culminate, the academy gave us the certificates of attendance. As a last activity, hpy we have made a tour together with the rest of the attendees in which we have known very special corners of Tuscany, and that has helped us to further strengthen the ties created between us throughout this week. Our assessment of the training is very positive, and we are very happy to be part of the great European educational family. Thank you all for following our journey, we are in contact!

Bienvenidos de nuevo!! Estos dos días han sido muy intensos. El martes trabajamos sobre pedagogías centradas en el alumnado y la teoría de las 4 C´s: Pensamiento crítico, creatividad, colaboración y comunicación. Además, realizamos interesantes técnicas de grupo junto con el resto de nuestros compañeros. La sesión del miércoles ha estado dedicada a la profundización en las diferentes competencias y su aplicación en el aula. Además, hemos conocido los colegios STEAM que, además del currículo oficial, trabajan en proyectos de ingeniería, ciencias y matemáticas, entre otros, con el alumnado. Para culminar hemos preparado un pequeño proyecto a través de la aplicación CANVAS que hemos expuesto para el resto de compañeros. La experiencia está resultando altamente motivadora y estamos tomando nota de todo para trabajarlo en nuestro centro. Continuamos!!!!!!

Welcome back!! These two days have been very intense. On Tuesday we worked on student-centered pedagogies and the theory of the 4 C's: Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. In addition, we perform interesting group techniques together with the rest of our colleagues. Wednesday's session was dedicated to deepening the different competences and their application in the classroomIn addition, we have known the STEAM schools that, in addition to the official curriculum, work on engineering, science and mathematics projects, among others, with the students. To finish we have prepared a small project through the CANVAS application that we have exposed for the rest of the colleagues. The experience is proving highly motivating and we are taking note of everything to work on it in our center. Continue!!!!!!

¡Primer día de curso! Hoy hemos conocido a nuestros nuevos compañeros de Portugal, Letonia y Croacia. Para comenzar, nos han contando muchísimos detalles sobre la vida en sus países y el trabajo en sus centros. Nosotros también hemos hecho lo propio hablando sobre nuestro cole y nuestra ciudad, Almería. También hemos realizado dinámicas de grupo y trabajado sobre la inteligencia emocional. Después de un poco de turismo para conocer mejor la ciudad, Florencia, toca descansar para afrontar un nuevo día de clases. ¡Seguiremos informando!

First day of course! Today we have met our new colleagues from Portugal, Latvia and Croatia. To begin with, they have told us many details about life in their countries and work in their centers. We have also done the same talking about our school and our city, Almería. We have also carried out group dynamics and worked on emotional intelligence. After a bit of sightseeing to get to know the city better, Florence, it's time to rest to face a new day of classes. We will keep reporting!

DÍA 3- MIÉRCOLES, 9 FEB: DIVERSIDAD, MULTICULTURALIDAD, ESTEREOTIPOS Y BULLYING.

Hoy ha sido un día muy intenso, hemos trabajado variedad de temas para entender cómo se origina el bullying en la sociedad actual. A través de dinámicas hemos recreado experiencias que nos han hecho reflexionar cómo gestionar este problema. 

Today has been a very intense day, we have worked on a variety of topics to understand how bullying originates in today's society. Through dynamics we have recreated experiences that have made us reflect on how to manage this problem. 

DÍA 2- MARTES, 8 FEB: RESOLUCIÓN DE CONFLICTOS EN EL ÁMBITO EDUCATIVO Y TOUR GUIADO POR EL CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD POR LA TARDE.

 Dedicamos la mañana a tratar el conflicto escolar: formas de manifestarse y dinámicas para aprender a gestionarlo de manera efectiva en nuestro día a día. 

We spent the morning dealing with school conflict: ways in which it manifests itself and dynamics to learn how to manage it effectively in our daily school lives.

Por la tarde, después de una pequeña pausa para comer, la academia nos prepara un fabuloso tour por la capital irlandesa. La teacher Linda es una gran apasionada de la historia de su ciudad y gracias a ella descubrimos los lugares más emblemáticos como la estatua de Molly Malone, el Trinity College y la iglesia de St. Andrew's Church. Finalizamos con un pequeño paseo por el canal del rio Liffey. 

In the afternoon, after a short break for lunch, the academy prepares for us a fabulous tour of the Irish capital. The teacher Linda is very passionate about the history of her city and thanks to her we discover the most emblematic places such as the statue of Molly Malone, Trinity College and St. Andrew's Church. We finish with a short walk along the Liffey canal.

DÍA 1- LUNES, 7 FEB: PRESENTACIONES

 

Nuestra academia de formación en Dublín. Aquí estaremos de lunes a viernes todas las mañanas. Un lugar muy emblemático en el centro de la ciudad. 

Our training academy in Dublin. We will be here from Monday to Friday every morning. A very emblematic place in the city centre. 

Rompiendo el hielo. En primer lugar comenzamos presentando nuestra provincia, localidad y nuestro colegio al resto de participantes en el curso. Disfrutamos conociendo aspectos y curiosidades de nuestras compañeras de Polonia y Croacia. 

Breaking the ice. First of all we started by introducing our province, town and our school to the other participants in the course. We enjoyed getting to know aspects and curiosities of our fellow teachers from Poland and Croatia. 

PRIMERA PARTE: LLEGADA A DUBLIN Y PRESENTACIÓN

Llegamos a Dublín sin incidentes y con tiempo para descubrir un poco la capital irlandesa. 

Comenzamos nuestra formación al día siguiente en the Teacher Academy Europass. Nos impresiona la localización del lugar, una antigua iglesia y colegio católico destinado para niños. Nuestro formador es Michael Farrell, profesor con una larga trayectoria educativa en formación profesional.

We arrived in Dublin without incident and with time to discover a bit of the Irish capital. 

We start our training the next day at the Teacher Academy Europass. We are impressed by the location of the place, a former church and Catholic school for boys. Our trainer is Michael Farrell, a teacher with a long career in vocational education.

Calentando motores para nuestra primera movilidad de formación. En tan solo tres semanas nos pondremos rumbo a Dublín! 

Nuestros profes Pablo, Sinuhe y la seño María José viajarán hasta la capital de Irlanda para asistir al curso "Embracing Diversity, Preventing Bullying and Violence" del 7 al 12 del próximo mes.

Ayer celebramos una sesión de Claustro y Consejo Escolar para trasladar a nuestros compañeros y, en general, a toda la comunidad escolar, información relativa al proyecto que se ha concedido al centro, las movilidades que vamos a realizar, de qué forma pueden todos colaborar con nosotros...  Todo ello para implicar mucho más a maestros, padres e instituciones locales en el Proyecto que estamos realizando.

Yesterday we held a session of the Cloister and School Council to convey to our classmates and, in general, to the entire school community, information regarding the project that has been granted to the center, the mobilities that we are going to carry out, how everyone can collaborate with us ... All this to involve teachers, parents and local institutions much more in the Project that we are carrying out.
